Nursing professional with an extensive background in acute and post-acute care, management and operations. Ann’s diverse experience in the home care industry spans more than 30 years focusing on: compliance, quality and performance improvement, risk assessments, claims/denials and appeals, survey readiness, plans of correction, education and training and implementing effective process improvements. She has led successful electronic medical record implementations and has been instrumental in integrating technology into operations to facilitate care and services provided while improving quality and reducing costs.
As a Professional Legal Nurse Consultant Ann has been successful in leading audits. She has acted as an expert witness in several cases and is able to assist attorneys and law practices with their medical malpractice and personal injury cases. She possesses a thorough knowledge of nursing/medical standards of practice as well as Federal and State regulatory requirements.
Ann is dually licensed as a registered nurse in both New Jersey and New York. She has recently held positions at the New York City Health & Hospitals Corporation as Deputy Executive Director and Executive Director of their home care services and has worked for LHC Group as Area Vice President for New Jersey operations.
